PHILADELPHIA – What makes a house a home?

“We also wanted to have a little bit of porch space in the back so people can see actually what a house could look like,” said Anastasiya Konopitskaya, an architect with Coexist Build, based in Maidencreek Township.

Is it a strong foundation? A reliable roof? Or perhaps it’s all about the origin of the materials used to construct it.

“What we use is the hemp hurd, which is typically 80% to 85% of the hemp plant, if you’re growing for industrial purposes,” said Drew Oberholtzer, co-founder of Coexist Build.
